Tara’s Pet Taxis has been safely transporting the UK’s pet owners’ furry loved ones for over 12 years.
TPT provides pre-booked professional personable transportation for domestic pets mainly throughout London and the Home Counties, but are licensed by APHA (Type 1 Authorisation) to transport anywhere within the UK. Your pet’s welfare and comfort are at the centre of everything we do, so we only take pets from the same household at any one time: their very own chauffeur service!

Your pet(s) are treated with the same love, care and affection that we would show our own and their needs are the most important thing to us. Windows are opened in hot weather, heaters used in colder temperatures and music that your pet seems to enjoy is played! We are happy to take your pets bedding and familiar toys along with them if need be and toilet/drinking stops are made on longer journeys.
Dogs travel behind a secure dog guard in the boot of the car and cats secured within the car in their own carrier, whereby they are close to the driver for “chats” and reassurance if necessary! Dog crates can be provided if required. Smaller dogs with harnesses can travel within the car also secured by a doggy seat belt, should they need extra reassurance too!
Pet holding areas are cleaned between jobs and the boots of our vehicles are laid with a non-porous material which limits any contamination and allows for any accidents. TPT holds a Type 1 Authorisation license and full Pet Business Insurance, including Public Liability, meaning that when in our care, your pet is insured against any unforeseen circumstance involving itself or a member of the public, giving the owner complete peace of mind.
